Order this along with a bunch of other parts from Mx5parts, order arrived a couple of days later. Everything was I order except that the nylon Cup included in this kit was missing. Send them an email, Bryan replied shortly after. After a few emails back and forth to confirm it definitely wasn't with the rest of the order a new one was sent out that I received a couple of days later. Excellent service and quick dispatch times.

I bought this on a bit of a whim as I was replacing the gearbox oil, which of course, also meant changing the oil in the shifter turret. Thankfully I did some research beforehand and found it was likely that the shift boots were going to be in a bad way, so I thought it wise to buy this kit in case I needed.Good thing I did as both shift boots were knackered, especially the upper shift boot, which was in a sorry state, meaning there was simply no way it could be re-used.I ordered the kit quite short notice, so it was touch-and-go whether it would arrive in time but despite being ordered in the afternoon, it came the very next day - one very happy customer!

Another great product, fast delivery and well packed so no chance of damage.Use some talcum powder when fitting as its a lubricant for rubber which makes it easier to install and will help extend the life of the rubber.

Just fitted this as gear changes were a bit notchy. Wasn't entirely sure if it needed it as the car has only 40k miles on it, however once I got the centre console out of the way it was clear that both existing rubbers were shot. Easy job, a bit faffy getting the old one off (just cut through the rubber neck and pull) new one slid on with a smear of lube on the shaft (titter titter).I now have super smooth gear changes.P.s. 85ml of 75W/90 in the turret according to the Haynes.

Ordered Tuesday arrived Wednesday morning, fitted Wednesday evening. Simple job completed in 20 minutes. I didn't know it needed doing but both gaiters were shot so hoping to notice a difference. All the parts fitted easily and well. There's a YouTube how to by MX5 Parts to show you what to do.

This has got to be one of the easiest jobs and which gives a very satisfying result. Didn’t realise how notchy and noisy my gear changes were until this was fitted. The gear changes are now smooth and quiet with no heat coming from the stick, gaiter or console. Well worth the price.
