“I am new to mx5 parts and new to owning my eunos Mk1 roadster,The kit arrived in 48hours found it easy to fit this kit I removed old oil from turret and refilled 90Ml of new oil the oil I used ( my choice of oil) TURRET ONLY semi synthetic A. T. F. NOW CAR HAS VERY EASY GEAR SHIFT , oil or new boots?? jOHN S”

“Quick delivery. I've fitted three of these now to various MX5's I've owned. Easy job: Instructions can be found on MX5 Owners Club Forum. Don't forget to put the large nylon/sprung steel washer back on the large balljoint before fitting the lower boot: you won't be able to fit it once the boot is on! Oh, and I've never found it to make any difference to the gear change, even after draining gear box, filling with Mobil synthetic and changing the turret oil. Fitting a heavy gear knob did, though.”

“parts received promptly (as ever) The wife fitted them to HER car next day!! certainly made a difference to gearchange. I do not know yet, she never let's me have the keys. Well, hardly ever! She never did jobs on cars before but loves her 5 so much.”

“Bought to replace my tattered OEM boots on my Mk 1. In summary a good set of OEM parts that were a doddle to fit! Made a vast improvement to the levels of noise and heat within the cabin, as well as improving the overall feel and accuracy of my shift, combined with a decent oil in the turret, you can't go wrong!”

“Great service as ever.. parts arrived prompty.. I looked through the other reviews and found a link to this site: http://www.planetmx5.com/shift_boots.htm which has great instructions to complete the job.. Took me an hour or so but I wasn't in a hurry.. Gearlever action now alot smoother.. Both Boots had split.”
