“I would love to give a review but as my order for 3 chairs was spilt and only 1 has turned up damaged in a box in the rain ,leaving me without chairs for christmas, despite being told they would arrive by the 21st Dec I unfortunately have nothing positive to review”

“Ordered six chairs and four are damaged. Still awaiting a satisfactory solution from Lakeland. Paid for 48 hour delivery and it came late. Lakeland did refund the premium I paid for this after complaining.”

“I paid to have my bar stools delivered early and only half turned up at the end of the day. We then had to wait until after the weekend and they did then send out the second parcel and refunded the extra money I paid for early delivery. If all had gone well I would have given a higher rating but the 2nd delivery was with wrong parts and wrong instructions so we had no seats to sit on over Xmas. I am waiting for Lakeland to now respond to make email.”

“The chair I ordered is lovely, however whilst you use yodel for your deliveries I unfortunately won’t be ordering from you again. Waited in all day for delivery only to be sent a message saying ‘sorry we missed you’ tried to call yodel but was continually passed from pillar to post and have since discovered that I have been charged over £15 for phone call! When it was eventually delivered it was left outside in rain meaning the box was ruined, shame as the item is great and would have given you 5 stars, I’d boycott yodel if I owned your company as they are costing you customers”

“I Ordered and received 4 dining chairs, the style and fabric were exactly what i wanted, however the framework and workmanship were abysmal. The wood frame was wafer thin, it wouldn't have taken any pressure from the backrest whatsoever. That being said, Lakeland customer service have been very helpful and nothing has been too much trouble and having seen photos, they agree with me and have arranged a courier to collect for a full refund including return carriage. I have ordered from them in the past and have been happy with my purchase, im hoping this is an isolated incident.”

“This rating is purely based on the poor service to date. Placed these orders over two weeks ago and received confirmation they would be delivered before Christmas Day. We're on Boxing Day now and still no delivery!?!?!? Furthermore, radio silence until Boxing Day when I received an email to rate the product!?!?!? What product!?!?!”

“Chairs were all wonky when put together . The legs rocked as all four feet didn’t sit on the floor As they were all made of ply wood they cracked the the joints when trying to tighten them up . You have a curved back to the chairs and a flat back to the seat so they were never going to sit together properly . For 300£ for 6 chairs I wasn’t expecting much and we needed them for Christmas so I couldn’t send them back . If you won’t cheap chairs they will only last a couple of years if your lucky these will do but if not don’t waste your money . I will have to strengthen the joints and add some timber stiffeners to the chairs to make them last a bit longer .”
