After getting a new Sky box with it's sluggish, bloated and confusing user interface; I bought my second Humax. It's far superior.

A good quality HDD Recorder. Three tuners are a big advantage at certain times. Easy to operate once familiar with controls. Read the manual! There's no "INFO" button as such, but just by pressing OK on a channel/programme, all the info is displayed. A couple of minor quirks compared to my Panasonic and previous Humax models but nothing that would put me off buying this excellent piece of kit. I have the 2TB version, so an enormous amount of space to record anything I might miss - or wish to keep to view at leisure. 5 Stars.

When I took it out of the plastic bag security tag was still intact but the bottom of the box had broken and contents nearly fell onto the floor I checked that all the contents where undamaged and complete they were I then did a quick check to see if every functioned as it should and it functioned ok as it should do set it up and everything worked as it should do I have not had time as yet to set it properly but it all appears to work with no damage apparent so everything appears ok

Have not plugged it in yet. I bought it as my existing 2 other Humax recorders are just about to become full up. I like to keep my favourite programmes & during Covid this has been a lifesaver. I am about to connect this new recorder up & the 2TB of space will be great.

Hardware-wise, this is excellent value for money (three tuners, 2TB disc, all the required interconnectors and the best Humax remote yet). The picture/sound quality is top notch. Software-wise, the menu system does some clever stuff, and some not so clever (there is no automatic screen-saver for 'pause', although the screen is dimmed a bit) but it has eleven apps pre-installed and a really good printed manual. What's not to like?
