Boker Plus XS Heinnie® Edition Folding Knife Reviews

4.6 Rating 40 Reviews
Read Heinnie Haynes Reviews

The Boker Plus XS has been one of the most popular UK carry folders of recent times. The substantial, sub three inch, non-locking blade has a great deal of resistance in the slip joint mechanism making it a superb choice for your everyday carry, using knife.
This little beauty has now had the Heinnie® treatment to add to its appeal. Exclusive to us and with a unique serial number* on the back of the blade this is a cracking addtion to your beloved Heinnie® collection and a superbly practical knife to boot.
The handle is, of course, red G10 and for this model, the blade is made using 440C stainless steel and it's razor sharp out of the box. Dual thumb studs make it left hand friendly and a firm pocket clip enables ease of carry.
These knives are serial numbered, but sadly we're not able to select a particular number for each order.

The knife is a functional tool rather than a potential future family heirloom. Useful and practical. I find the G10 scales a bit thin with a rough texture. But its easy to open one handed and will without doubt serve me well for the purposes I need it for. The only feature lacking in the design is a lanyard hole. It didn't have one when it was made, but it has one now after I drilled a hole through it.

Spring is a bit weak and there is little snapping. Expected it to feel more robust. Good blade and size. Bought it mostly for the finger notch.

A knife is the practical solution in many situations, cutting something free first aid The ability to open that knife one handed is an added advantage, locking blades bring a safety component but we cant have them in the UK. This knife is the next best thing its a lovely little knife easy to open and close single handed, the cut out for your finger adds an element of safety in preventing/alerting you that is closing on your fingers, the colour if you drop it is easy to see and the price is acceptable I have only had this a short time but so far I can thoroughly recommend it.

I wish I'd pulled the trigger on this years ago. I have a collection of knives that aren't quite "right". This fits my original desire: UK legal, clipped slipjoint with a firm action, and a one hand opener. This one's my pocket knife moving forwards.

I really like this UK legal slip joint knife thanks to it's large finger choil which helps to prevent the knife closing during use as it is non locking. The clip is fairly unobtrusive in the hand and the thumb studs allow for 1 handed opening. Overall a great EDC

This knife feels great and is capable of the vast majotity of EDC tasks. It sharpens well and holds a great edge. It is heavy, so isn't particularly pocket friendly,, but that same heft gives you confidence that it's up to the job.

i love this knife however it needs jimping. its a hand filler has a really strong back spring but is smooth upon opening and can be used in either hand the pocket clip feels like a after thought. and needs a lanyard holeother than that makes a good alternative to a ukpk if you are on a budget has nice grippy g10 scales
