Boker Plus XS Heinnie® Edition Folding Knife Reviews

4.6 Rating 40 Reviews
Read Heinnie Haynes Reviews

The Boker Plus XS has been one of the most popular UK carry folders of recent times. The substantial, sub three inch, non-locking blade has a great deal of resistance in the slip joint mechanism making it a superb choice for your everyday carry, using knife.
This little beauty has now had the Heinnie® treatment to add to its appeal. Exclusive to us and with a unique serial number* on the back of the blade this is a cracking addtion to your beloved Heinnie® collection and a superbly practical knife to boot.
The handle is, of course, red G10 and for this model, the blade is made using 440C stainless steel and it's razor sharp out of the box. Dual thumb studs make it left hand friendly and a firm pocket clip enables ease of carry.
These knives are serial numbered, but sadly we're not able to select a particular number for each order.

Good little knife. Strong spring sharp edge reasonably priced. The thumb stud came a little loose after some use, and in hindsight, I would prefer the black scales. But over all 4 stars

Probably legal for UK EDC but hard to be certain. Case law since the folding pocket knife exemption legislation was passed has muddied the waters concerning blade length and cutting edge length. You make your own choice I guess. I wish a deep carry pocket clip was available. Great value knife though, with a satisfyingly strong back spring and finger-protecting choil.

Good EDC. Blade snaps into position nicely and holds. Sits in the hand well. Not a bad edge on it at all. Nice touch including an torx key - I prefer these little touches rather than a case that I'll never use. Could do with a lanyard hole.

In my opinion one of the best slipjoint knifes out there. Great size, great and secure handling. Nice and very sharp blade. Beautiful action and one handed deployment. Solid steel. All that for a very appealing price. I like!

The knife its self is really good and robust. However the thumb stud was loose and the pocket clip was far to low down the handle and carried to high out the pocket. But with a change of thumbstud and pocket clip problem solved.and the pop of blue on the thumbstud makes the knife stand out. The blade was shaving sharp out the box and still is after a few weeks of evey day use . It holds its edge really well. Feels good in hand in both the saber grip and forward choke grip. The back spring holds the blade firmley in place and has good walk and talk. Again another good buy from HH

The Boker Plus XS Heinnie® Edition is a chunky, no-nonsense EDC knife that's fully UK legal and built like a tank. Straight out of the box, the blade comes razor sharp and ready for action—no tuning or touch-up needed. One of the standout features for me is the thoughtful handle design. The cutaway at the base provides a natural and secure resting point for your fingers, meaning the blade won't fold onto your hand during use—a reassuring feature that enhances both safety and grip. It's a bit stiff to open one-handed, but that stiffness actually speaks to its build quality. It gives the whole knife a sense of solid reliability, with none of the wobble or looseness you sometimes get in lighter-duty folders. If you're looking for a robust, dependable, and well-designed UK-legal carry knife with a quality finish and that signature Heinnie Haynes dependability, the Boker Plus XS is a brilliant addition to any EDC rotation.

I really like this knife, it's nicely made, UK friendly and just is an all round nice knife.Edge retention is awful though, it becomes unuseably blunt after breaking down a couple of cardboard boxes for recycling.
