Boker Plus XS Heinnie® Edition Folding Knife Reviews

4.6 Rating 40 Reviews
Read Heinnie Haynes Reviews

The Boker Plus XS has been one of the most popular UK carry folders of recent times. The substantial, sub three inch, non-locking blade has a great deal of resistance in the slip joint mechanism making it a superb choice for your everyday carry, using knife.
This little beauty has now had the Heinnie® treatment to add to its appeal. Exclusive to us and with a unique serial number* on the back of the blade this is a cracking addtion to your beloved Heinnie® collection and a superbly practical knife to boot.
The handle is, of course, red G10 and for this model, the blade is made using 440C stainless steel and it's razor sharp out of the box. Dual thumb studs make it left hand friendly and a firm pocket clip enables ease of carry.
These knives are serial numbered, but sadly we're not able to select a particular number for each order.

I have several of the Heinnie Real Steel red G2 knives, but this Boker seems to be a step up. With a thicker spring and a really effective thumb stud, it opens with an incredibly satisfying click. The blade is beefy and shapely and the choil and weight of spring combine to create a feeling of real safety when doing heftier work. If you only buy one of the special editions, this should be the one. (Incidentally, mine developed a problem with the thumb studs loosening and Heinnie's telephone service was, as always, knowledgeable and helpful.)

Great little EDC, I'm a farmer so use this knife everyday, I use it for a wide range of jobs, cutting open silage bales, trimming livestock hooves, sgaroening/carving points onto fence posts plus more. This knife has good blade thickness and length, the finger choil is a great feature for more demanding jobs, and keeps the blade from closing. Been using for three weeks now, blade is still sharp, all in all a good investment, being an EDC I don' have to worry if I forget it's in my pocket when out in the street. Highly recommend

Extremely sharp knife the only problem was the thumbstud it's been placed to close to the Handel. I solved this by putting a Kwik Thumbstud on top of the blade, problem solved

The delivery was fast super impressed! Only gave the knife a 3 star, although the majority of its fit & finish is decent the blade has a slight bend to it at the tip & because i'm lazy and can't be bothered to send it back i'll just put up with it. Nice strong spring, good half stop & the chance of it closing on your fingers is reduced due to the finger choil!

This is a review for an all black one that's pretty much the exact same other than colour.Brilliant bit of kit. Been used for many different jobs, letter/parcel opening, skewer for corn on the cob, BBQs, and even to cut a fuel line on a motorbike. Done it all with ease, very natural to hold and keeps its edge very well.
