I've baked my own bread with this flour since the coronavirus lockdown in 2020. It produces superb results, very tasty bread with excellent flavour. I would recommend it to any body wishing to take up artisan baking.

Excellent on its own but equally brilliant mixed 50:50 with Wholemeal. A 3-hour "rapid bake" in the breadmaker makes the tastiest loaf. Also works well with Canadian White and Eight Grain on dough setting to make finger rolls and buns to bake in the oven. My favourite of the Cotswold bunch - malty and crunchy. Perfect!

This makes a very good tasty loaf in a bread maker on the granary setting. I have also used it half and half with Churchill White to make dough for bread rolls in a bread maker. Some more recipes for use of Matthews flours in a bread maker would be much appreciated as not all of the flours on offer work as well.

A wonderful flour that makes outstanding sourdough bread. Has complex flavours and a soft crumb with a great crispy and chewy crust will buy it again snd again!

Not a true baker as I use a machine but this flour works wonderfully well. Lovely texture and great taste, I don't have much sense of smell and taste but this hits the spor. Smells delicious and I can taste it, it also makes excellent toast.

I've been using Cotswold Crunch for over 20 years, and given the dodgy supply situation, invested in a big shipment of flour. I mix CC with strong white flour, roughly 50/50, and get an excellent delicious loaf every time. It also toasts well. The monks got it right all those years ago!

My brother in law loves this as he doesn’t really care for plain white
