Manzanilla Aurora Sherry (100% Palomino Grapes, 8-10 years old) Reviews

Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

The Manzanilla Aurora Sherry carries a rich history, named after Aurora Ambrosse Lacave, a pioneering female executive in the sherry trade from SanlĂșcar de Barrameda. This wine, introduced in 1907, was owned by her after her husband's death in 1911. The bodega is now under the ownership of Bodegas Yuste, with Francisco Yuste producing Manzanilla wines for over 25 years. The solera of Aurora consists of eight stages, resulting in a Manzanilla aged 8-10 years. The wine is bottled with minimal treatment, preserving its unique character.

My very favourite sherry, I always have some in to go with tapas or just as an aperativ

A beautiful manzanilla, with a subtle woody flavour alongside the expected refreshing tang. Just perfect for drinking on a warm evening in the garden, with some jamon of course. Happy days

Definitely my favourite Sherry and I keep on buying it. Dry but with lots of flavour so not thin like a lot of dry sherry
