Manzanilla Aurora Sherry (100% Palomino Grapes, 8-10 years old) Reviews

Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

The Manzanilla Aurora Sherry carries a rich history, named after Aurora Ambrosse Lacave, a pioneering female executive in the sherry trade from SanlĂșcar de Barrameda. This wine, introduced in 1907, was owned by her after her husband's death in 1911. The bodega is now under the ownership of Bodegas Yuste, with Francisco Yuste producing Manzanilla wines for over 25 years. The solera of Aurora consists of eight stages, resulting in a Manzanilla aged 8-10 years. The wine is bottled with minimal treatment, preserving its unique character.

This is an exceptionally tasty dry sherry, many others are lacking in flavour, not cheap but you get what you pay for

Beautiful and subtle salty hint in the taste. Once opened you have to finish the bottle with some Serrano. The Manzanilla will taste even better when the weather warms up. Thanks Patrick

Absolutely delicious, with a distinctive salty tang. One of the nicest manzanillas that I have tasted. Treat yourself!
