The Manzanilla Aurora Sherry carries a rich history, named after Aurora Ambrosse Lacave, a pioneering female executive in the sherry trade from SanlĂșcar de Barrameda. This wine, introduced in 1907, was owned by her after her husband's death in 1911. The bodega is now under the ownership of Bodegas Yuste, with Francisco Yuste producing Manzanilla wines for over 25 years. The solera of Aurora consists of eight stages, resulting in a Manzanilla aged 8-10 years. The wine is bottled with minimal treatment, preserving its unique character.

I read about you Aurora Manzanilla sherry in a Guardian article about some of the best sherries. I was intrigued by the Aurora label and the story behind it. I ordered a bottle and have to say it is one of the best dry sherries I have ever tasted1 I shall be ordering again for sure!

Good but to my palate not as fine tasting as the manzanilla from the Barbadillo bodega.
