Manzanilla Aurora Sherry (100% Palomino Grapes, 8-10 years old) Reviews

Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

The Manzanilla Aurora Sherry carries a rich history, named after Aurora Ambrosse Lacave, a pioneering female executive in the sherry trade from Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This wine, introduced in 1907, was owned by her after her husband's death in 1911. The bodega is now under the ownership of Bodegas Yuste, with Francisco Yuste producing Manzanilla wines for over 25 years. The solera of Aurora consists of eight stages, resulting in a Manzanilla aged 8-10 years. The wine is bottled with minimal treatment, preserving its unique character.

Absolutely delicious. This made us feel so much better having just cancelled our Spanish holiday due to covid-19. Really good value too.

Delicious sherry at an incredibly good value price. Think apple and almonds, yeasty, searingly fresh acidity... oodles of pleasure. A small glass each night is something to look forward to.
