At Basco, we source the finest Galician beef from the Northwest of Spain. Our Galician beef range comes from retired Frisona dairy cows between 6 and 8 years old, allowing for natural grass-fed marbling. These older cows have a higher percentage fat content and more marbling, resulting in a unique and distinct flavor. Each Galician rib steak is dry-aged for a minimum of 35 days. The steak smells nutty and beefy even before cooked which is amazing. Unfortunately a large part of it didn’t work rate as was very very chewy and gristly but the other half was divine. Hopefully the other steak is better all over.

I bought this for a birthday dinner. Superb. Fantastic quality from a great company. This is a must and using one of the online recipes took it up a notch. Nice with a glass of red.

You can keep your wagu beef this Galician rib eye is the most wonderfull rib eye I have tasted ( don’t you dare overcook it. ) Well done guys. Packaging is second to none
