La Chinata Manzanilla Olives with Garlic and Rosemary, 350g Reviews

4.9 Rating 57 Reviews
Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

La Chinata's Manzanilla olives are specially selected for their superior flavor. These olives have a firm, fruity outer core and a soft, creamy interior. The garlic is blanched to mellow its heat, and the fruits are marinated in a rosemary-infused brine. Ideal as an appetizer with a glass of cava or gin and tonic, or as part of a tapas spread.

On my Birthday in March I received a hamper from Basco as a gift from friends. All the products were excellent but my favourite item was a jar of La Chinata Manzanill Olives. The finest olives I have ever tasted, hence my total addiction to them!! I have since ordered many jars and passed on my addiction to lots of my family and friends!

Top quality olives, very tasty indeed and will definitely buy again. One thing I would question is the polystyrene foam packaging. Is this environmentally friendly and recyclable? We use Gusto and they use recycling cardboard. I love Basco but not using recycling packaging makes me feel guilty!

All of us loved these. Lovely texture and great taste. A hint of garlic only on the olives.

A real taste of Spain and a reminder of sitting on a terrace sipping a beer.

These olives are so good. The garlic added is very edible and sweet and the rosemary lends a lovely flavour. Not too strong, just right.
