“My package arrived undamaged and well wrapped. The wrapping is robust enough to keep the yeast in good condtion in the fridge. The yeast looks darker than some comercial yeasts but it works really well and smelt right. It had a good 'use by' date and I am still using it. (Arrived 21 Feb Ok until 23 Mar)I bake my breads using long fermentaion and I got great results using only 2g of yeast so it is really economical. The final prove took a bit longer but it gave great oven spring and all in all delivered a great loaf of bread. I would buy it assuming you will sell in the 42g cubes. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try it. Will send you a photo of some loaves baked with it.”
“It was the first time I have used fresh yeast in this form; in the past I have used yeast from the local baker. When I opened the yeast, it had a delightful smell. It was much firmer than I remembered, presumably because it was compacted into the cube, but once activated it behaved just as it should. I tried it with a batch of white bread and then a wholemeal loaf. In both cases I achieved a very good rise and the flavour was good too. It was a convenient form in which to have yeast, but would require me to be organised enough to order it in advance! A tin in the fridge is the lazy option...”

“have made 2 loaves and a couple of nan breads. the white loaf was a good mix had to use less water, the wholemeal worked very well. the nans came out well shaped. I would recommand the use of fresh yeast (hope the price is relevant to the goods.”
“I found using this yeast a real treat. The bread seemed to be a lot lighter. The flavour seemed to be a creamy taste which we really enjoyed, the crumb also seemed to be crispier. The dough was a creamy colour when proving. It was a real pleasure to use. I hope you will start selling this yeast.”
“This is excellent. It arrived promptly in a little packet & was put in the fridge. I used it a few days later to make a Farmhouse Loaf. Left overnight in a sponge of flour and water, it proved very lively, starting to ferment immediately and worked very well. I've also made pizza dough with it. Not used fresh yeast before but found it easy and reliable. Excellent product.”
