Perhaps it is because I am new to baking bread, but I always found that my dough would spill over the tin walls or end up in a big mushroom shape. To produce straighter loaves, I would line my tins with tall walls of baking parchment. Not any more. I crossed my fingers and bought two, not knowing how good they would be. I need not have worried. These higher walled tins are superb. The bread rises wonderfully, slides out easily and I could not be happier. I would recommend these tins to any novice bread baker. My only (very slight) criticism is that although the tins produce lovely loaves, the tin might be a bit longer - by perhaps two centimetres, to produce a very slightly longer loaf. That said, I would thoroughly recommend these tins and am unlikely to buy any others for some time.
