“Nice to find something different, I have been looking for 'Charcoal powder' for some time after having 'Charcoal' baguettes from a local artisan baker. I am still experimenting, trying sourdough and yeasted boules, which were fine , but the crumb was a bit soft especially in sourdough, but will try again. Today I have made carbon mini baguettes,using a poolish, baked on my new Bakerybits baguette trays, they have come out very good with a good crisp crust. The carbon powder doesn't impart any flavour, but makes very interesting bakes, that look good.”
