The baking stone is great, it made a real difference to our loaves. We now get more oven spring and all our loaves have nice crisp bottoms, the results are consistent and very good. It’s also useful that the stone is big enough for two loaves and for any pizza that we might want to slip in there. It now lives permanently on the bottom shelf in the oven. We’d be very sad if we had to give it up.

Great product! Really gives an added rise to your loaf! Can easily fit 2 loaf tins. Quite heavy for less abled persons but manageable. Would be tough to get into low ovens if you had a bad back - would consider getting 2 smaller ones.

Ordered the stone, was very pleased with the weight and feel of it. Unfortunately it had a hairline crack, invisible until it went into the oven. (it's a natural material, these things happen and can't be helped) sent a few pics to the excellent customer service team and with a quick reply I now have a replacement in the post. If my bread is anywhere as good as the service I'll be a happy man!

Very pleased with my granite baking stone. As described. I've used it twice and it really makes a difference the bread rise. Made some ciabatta and spelt bread which both had a well developed crumb. The pitta bread was the most entertaining to watch puff up!

I purchased this after not being very happy using a thin pizza stone. This has provided a huge difference in the spring produced in both free form and tin breads. Very much worth the money and well done to BakeryBits to continue to supply us with equipment and flours during this traumatic and unsettling period.
