I think I'll go back to my old pot or my dome, the results are so much better and loaves don't take 1 hour+ to bake. “I was frankly expecting more having read all the glowing reviews. The stone takes an absolute age to heat up and with the oven set to 240 degrees C the stone only reaches circa 176 degrees after the best part of an hour (and yes the oven works fine).
I so want to be more positive about the stone but for the moment it's just a disappointment; I'll persevere though.
It looks good, but I didn't just buy it for it's aesthetics.”
