“I purchased this item as a Christmas present, after only using it a few times we noticed a crack. I contacted customer support who were extremely helpful and super responsive. I was offered a refund or replacement, I went for the replacement as it was a gift for my husband. A replacement was promptly sent and whe. I received it it was broken. I contacted you straight away and sent photos. Again super response and very apologetic, a second replacement was sent out. Again the item was broken on arrival, I contacted Bakery Bits again and sent photos and mentioned they may wish to look at their packaging and or delivery people, this time no response, I followed up with a second email - again no response. This is over 2 weeks ago. I was not going to follow this up again, as your lack of response means you do not wish to follow this up. I would not have bothered to contact you again on this matter but since you are interested in my feedback I have responded. So very unhappy will not use or recommend you any further”
“Good solid heavy stone, well-polished top surface. Does what it's meant to do. Currently in the oven with a loaf baking on top of it. Good buy but heavy enough to be a bit of a pain to lift in and out of a low-level oven, so mine lives in the oven except for cleaning and if the space is needed for something else. Don't drop it on your toes!”

“I have now had my new baking stone for a couple of weeks and it has been in constant use. The advice I got from BB on where to put it in my oven was perfect. It sits on the bottom of my oven and any doubts I had as to whether it would bake evenly just melted away with perfect loaf after loaf. I have the ability to have both top and bottom heat in my oven and having the stone on the base was perfect. Delivery was prompt and well packaged. I am so pleased that i bought the large stone. It feels the base of my oven perfectly. There is a plus to the stone. After baking I leave the door of the oven open on these chilly morning and because the stone retains heat so well i have a toasty kitchen AND fresh bread. Result!”
