The oven spring in my sour dough looked truly professional and the crust was the best ever. Do check your oven dimensions carefully as ours is a very tight fit. “I originally purchased the 30x30cm granite baking stone a few years ago but managed to drop and smash it recently. Since then I have tested out other much thinner (and cheaper) granite baking stones but was not satisfied by the crust (or lack thereof) underneath my sourdough bread. This time I ordered the 30x40cm granite baking stone which is fantastic! It gets a much improved bake on the bottom of my bread and the extra width allows me to get two breads into the oven at once.”
