As it’s the only malt extract I have ever used it is difficult to make a comparison but it was thick and syrupy and added great flavour to the loaf

I live in California, USA, and discovered BakeryBits online when looking for somewhere to buy malt syrup and barley malt flours that I couldn't find in my area to make Veda bread. The malt syrup has just the right sweetness, and helps give the soft texture and flavor to the bread that I have always remembered from trips to Ireland. I use this as an ingredient when I make a malt loaf called Veda. Tastes great. Just the right amount of sweetness.
