“Colour of dried treacle.Taste of dry powder reminiscent of fresh French coffee beans.I used it in a rye and caraway loaf instead of molasses.It made the loaf the colour of dark chocolate but had no effect on the flavour,I will stick to the molasses! I used the suggested quantities.I am a good cook and have been baking bread for about 40 years.
The nut brown malt and malt flakes are both delicious and I will be buying more.”
