I’ve been buying this product from you for a few years now as it’s the only place I can get it. I’m a home baker and it’s a great product but I find the delivery charges to be quite expensive for one item.

I add this to most of my bakes; although I usually use malted flour a teaspoon of nut brown gives a slightly maltier and, to my palate, a tastier flavour.

An easy way to add an attractive malt colour, taste and smell to my loaves. It has taken a couple of goes to find a suitable level of flour to add - I'd suggest starting with the lower end of the range and working upwards if you need more punch. works well with Bakery Bits Nuttymalt !

I used to use red malt flour but changed to roast barley malt, when the red malt flour disappeared. I was happy with both because they gave my loaf a great, malty flavour. I thought I would give this malt flour a try and it does give my loaf a nice, golden colour but no malty flavour. Even though I put 40g per loaf, which is plenty for the others I have used, there is still no flavour. It's ok, but I'll be going back to roast barley malt flour.
