First used a bordelaise on a recent bread making course. This model is excellent in scoring the dough. Delivery was prompt.

I am disappointed in this. It's flimsy and not especially sharp. Perhaps I'm not using it properly but it isn't doing what I had hoped it would.

I've used a normal sharp kitchen knife for 30+ years. This is taking a bit of practice but I've got a lot better over the past six loaves. I think the secret is to take it slowly but firmly.

I ordered this as part of my daughter’s Christmas present as she loves cooking. To be honest, I have absolutely no idea what it is but I am very impressed with the speed it arrived and am sure my daughter will be delighted with it.
