“Meet up for departure and handover of the car went well, not so much for the return, the car was there but the driver and keys were not, we waited so long that I had to pay £11.50 vs £7.50 payment in the short stay carpark to exit. Frustrating to be right next to my car but unable to get into it and dive away, which is really the purpose of the meet and greet.”
“I have used Edward Lloyd twice now, a second time because the first service wasn’t so bad but I won’t be using them again. Both times my car stank of cigarette smoke on my return. I am a non smoker so drivers had clearly been smoking in my car. My most recent trip, on my return the petrol level had significantly decreased and every single setting inside the vehicle had been altered, including both front seats, even the drive mode had been changed and various energy saving features switched off. The driver seat, mirrors and any setting you can think of had been changed (mirrors weren’t moved into a safe position). The drop off location was changed from what was written on the booking instructions to a different part of the airport as I was driving into the airport over the phone, as if driving through Heathrow isn’t difficult enough. I notified them of my arrival upon landing, updated them through baggage collection and I still had to wait for 25 minutes in the pick up location. I would not recommend this service and say in future it would definitely be worth paying extra for a better company. I am not someone who usually makes a complaint but my experience was appalling and if you are precious about your car do not use them.”
“Very poor performance we phoned after collecting luggage to say we were heading to car park to meet driver. We were told to head to terminal 3 departures drop off to meet driver, when we got there driver phoned to say he was 3 minutes away a policeman over heard us and said he would come with us to meet driver.
We waited the driver turned up and got into a discussion with the policeman who told the driver he was in the wrong dropping the car off there. We left and moved on”
“Be ready for walking around the whole airport from one place to the other to find them.... forecourt/car park..! A non uniformed man took our keys...showing a WhatsApp message! Also pay 2 x 7.50 £ for short stay car park...
Though car was fine on return..”
