“When we arrived at 0130hrs 19th and presented our pre paid ticked the display ask us for a payment of £184 even though we had earlier paid on line for our stay. It took some discussions with your remote operator to raise the barrier and let us depart. Not what we were expecting. Was this an error on your part or a malfunction on theANPR system. Very disappointed.”
“Was quick and easy but was glad the gentleman told me about the fact it may try and charge me again as this happened so took slightly longer to exit while this was sorted.”
“Parking, bus journey no problems. Drivers friendly to our group. Major issues trying to leave due to the fact that we were going to be overcharged to the sum of £177 for each car (3 off). We had been travelling all day and didn’t need this as we were trying to leave especially with children.”
“On arrival found a parking bay very quickly and got to main bus pick-up point no problem. Then had a 19 min wait! Journey to main terminal did take 2 min but 30 min overall from car parking to front door. On return pick up was slick and direct drive back to parking. Staff member told us the bus does a long loop via a number of long stay parking areas and if you miss a pick up you have a long wait. Be warned.”
“So arrived at long stay car park but the system didn't recognise the car, and registration was correct. Luckily we had enty time. Then had to use your office portacabin to get a number to call through to a member of staff as the place is unmanned. On return from holiday, same thing. Your staff are covering a work-around for a non-functioning system that should work compared to Edinburgh or Glasgow.”
