“Really easy to set up... 5 mins to set up with LG tv.. just remember to remove the original tv remote well away or they start to conflict with each other. It does tell you in the guide .. could be an idea to put that in bold at the beginning . Father has mid stage dementia and finds it really easy to use. In fact it's a godsend as 2 controls was beyond him..”

We're glad to hear that our customer is happy with the Flipper remote control. The one thing we would just like to clarify is that existing remote controls can still be used alongside the Flipper without any issue if the remotes are used correctly. For example, many of our customers have households that have some people who are comfortable using a more advanced control, and others who would prefer the Flipper, in this case both people can use the two remote controls without issue. That being said, problems can arise if an individual has access to the original TV/STB remote control who is not comfortable using the remote, as they may change settings or enter areas that prevent the Flipper functioning correctly. To summarise, you CAN use your existing remote control with the Flipper if you are comfortable doing so, but many of our customers may want to hide their original remote control to prevent any problems occuring accidentally.

“Very good idea. For my father-in-law's Panasonic DTV none of the Panasonic codes worked, and the learning didn't work - but sending all codes eventually worked fine. So now he can find the channel he wants without trying every combination of buttons over ten minutes!”

“the flipper has all the functionality I required on purchase. After letting my mum use it (with Dementia) she couldn't seem to grasp the channel up and down buttons < >. From mum's point of view it would be simpler if both channel and volume buttons were both + - as she understands that. The only other downside was the buttons from new can be hard to press if you hit them on the middle. Easier on the inside edge not sure why that is could be easily rectified by making the shape flat instead of wedge shape.”
