“Clunky does not always work especially the favourite buttons. This makes it difficult for people with dementia as they do not understand what is happening. With sky it defaults to the home screen and favourite buttons do not work. Appears manufacturer did not do any real life testing. Not recommended for dementia sufferers.”

We're sorry to hear that our customer experienced a problem with the favourites feature of the Flipper remote control. Both of these problems can be resolved. The channel skipping is a known issue that may sometimes occur when programming the favourites, this can be fixed and we've emailed our customer our detailed guide on how to do so and also information to resolve the issue with the Sky home screen showing. Most of our customers have no issue with the Flipper remote control but sometimes problems can occur during programming, we recommend customers contact our customer service team who'll be happy to help get the remote working. “This has brought my Dad back to life. He’s been bed bound in a care home since his stroke unable to use the standard remote control and stuck on whatever channel the carers leave it on. Having no entertainment whilst stuck in a room 24 hours a day on top of his brain injury impacted him so badly I was told he was declining. I got him this remote, it took me less than a minute to read through and set up and my Dad can easily use it. Just being entertained means his brain is engaging and he has come back to life over the last 2 weeks. Hes even managed to call me for a chat. Thanks for giving me my Dad back!”

“Bought this for my mother in law so that I could preprogram chanels for her for her Virgin Box to make life easier. Inital set up ws easy and the control worked on both her LG T.V. and Virgin box. However when it came to program it for stored channels this was problamatic. I pre programmed about 12 channels into the control which at first seemd to work ok. I soon discovererd that when I tried to change channels a little later that it would jump to random numbers and also would only display part numbers and not change over. I tried several times to delete and restore the channels but it would eventually revert back to random numbers when trying to change channels so can't be used. It now sits in a drawer.”
