“Fantastic , whether you want to brush up on skills or learn from scratch this is the place to go . Small classes of mixed abilities means the skilled instructors can tutor to individual needs and you all work at your own comfortable pace . So from novice to tradesmen wanting to diversify skills this is the place to come . Only problem , once you do one course you find yourself wanting to have a go at the others , go on treat yourself you wont regret it”

“I have just done 4 week's at YTA 2 week's plastering. 1 week plumbing & 1 week joinery & all I can say is it was well worth the money. Everybody was very helpful & friendly good set of lads would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to Learn a trade. Tonyjm”

“I recently attended a multi skills course (4 weeks) at YTA I did plastering , plumbing and tiling The tutors were fantastic in explaining and demonstrating in what was required and gave loads of tips of the trade too,The facilities were great and all the tools were on hand,I would definately recommend doing your training at YTA to any one as I have now finished my course full of confidence in taking on any job in all the above I have been taught in the last month, "What a great team at YTA" Thank you all!!!”

“The information received was delivered very well in a manner that was easily understood, all tools supplied were in good working order and up to the job. The facilities supplied i.e. Toilets, were a bit basic especially for any of our female colleagues. The course covered everything that I expected or wanted and I now feel confident that I could do a decent job of anything I attempt. The course instructors were friendly and forthcoming with any information requested of them, but I did think that they all tended to go missing at times and also to deal with personal issues while taking the class, texting and messing with mobiles while taking a class would get you sacked at any school I know of. That said the guys we're able to get their point across well and made the course fun as well as informative All in all a very enjoyable 10 days thanks for the time and care taken.”

“Very pleased with the course which entailed 5 modules. I then went on to do the kitchen course. All this has helped very much doing DIY at home and on my rental property. They are experts and have passed on to me very many helpful tips. I am more confident with my work and glad I went on the course., Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Norman”

“I attennded YTA to complete my 10 day CITB level 1 in plastering. I thouroughly enjoyed the course, i went in with a certain amount of knowledge with regards to plastering as a whole but YTA have helped me move my skills to the next level and im extremely happy with my results. The tutor 'dave' was excellent at explaining and showing me all i needed to know to complete tasks to a high standard. I will definetly be recommending YTA to collegues and freinds who are looking to train up on other trades, and i will be returning soon to complete another course and my level 2 in plastering.”

“I attended the YTA 5 day Plastering course which was superb. The course concentrated on practical skills with enough instruction and demonstrations to make everything easily understood. This is not a classroom based course but one where you will be actually doing the job straight away in your own purpose built bay. You will be undertaking a complete range of tasks from measuring and boarding up, straightforward plastering ceilings and walls, windows, corners, browning, dot and dab, patching and dealing with difficult areas. In addition, tools, estimating quantities and costs, providing quotes and advice regarding business issues, insurance and tax was provided. The facilities are excellent and the small class sizes were perfect, allowing everyone to interact well with each other and the instructor, Dave, who was great and happy to answer any questions. At the end of the week I was confident that I could tackle most plastering jobs. I would recommend this course to anyone who wanted to learn to plaster.”
