“I have just completed the 10 day intensive tiling course with Garry as my tutor. Throughly enjoyed it from day 1 to day 10. I had never tiled before and I now feel confident to tile and tackle any project. Garry teaches you all the tricks of the trade and with his 37 years of experience there’s nothing he doesn’t know. 10/10 and money well spent. Cheers Garry and YTA!”

“I did the 2 week carpentry course in February 20. The course was great, very well led by Lawrie who is very capable in all aspects of carpentry and general construction. Tools and materials provided were all top -drawer and the assignment based learning was ideal for my needs. I would highly recommend YTA to anyone who wants to understand about proper traditional woodworking and construction techniques.”

“I have just completed 3 weeks training with YTA; 5 days plumbing, 5 days tiling and 5 days plastering. I had little or no experience of these skills/trades before starting, other than watching a few YouTube videos. The training facility is well laid out and has everything you could need. All 3 coursed have a good level of content and progress logically with the pace of the course adapting to the skills and speed of the students. All the trainers have a wealth of knowledge which they are eager to pass on. They bring their years of trade experience to the training in an open and easy to understand way. As well as great instruction you can't put a value on the practical experience gained on the courses. You can listen to instruction a watch YouTube all you want but you cannot beat getting your hands on the tools and practicing what you have learned. The way the training and the facility is designed and laid out enables you to do exactly this with lots of practical scenarios that cover many different situations without worrying about causing damage etc. I highly recommend YTA.”

“I recently completed the 5 day plastering course with YTA and have to say it has been one of the best experiences for training I have ever received. I enjoyed it that much I have already booked several more courses for the next few upcoming months. Having had a complete change of direction in my life and wanting to leave a mundane and highly stressful environment from my previous employment behind, I decided to choose a career where I can see my accomplishments and be solely responsible for my work and not the work of others. And this course and this provider have given me that opportunity. The facilities are fantastic and the tuition/instruction from skilled and experienced tradesmen is beyond doubt second to none. I would highly recommend any of the courses to anyone either in the trades wishing to expand their knowledge base or for anyone with an interest in home improvement. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible.”

“i recently attended a 5 day intensive wall and floor tiling course, and found that the course was very constructive and gave me further experience to progress within the course. The staff were very extremely helpful and made myself feel very at home, as i came from south wales nearly 5 hours away. I will be coming back in the next few weeks to do another 5day course of tiling as i really enjoyed and found it very beneficial for myself.”

We(my friend )stayed cedar court hotel in bradford. I am glad to get opportunity to learn This institute. The instructors… Lyndon, thank you so much for your help and guidance. Lyndon you are good instructor. GA you r good mnager and i found you talanted person. U taught many things. I found here good teaching learning process. “I completed the 2 week tiling course and level 1 certificate in June 2019. I have taken my time in writing a review as I wanted to see how what I learnt would play out in the real world. Being a woman with zero tiling experience I was apprehensive about starting the course, I needn't have been. I was treated the same as the others on the course and no question however silly I thought it was, went unanswered or made me feel patronized. I enjoyed the course so much that I handed my notice in to my comfortable sales role in construction sales the following Monday and started on my path to setting up my own Tiling business. They can't teach you 10 years experience in 2 weeks and they dont pretend to be able too. They do teach you the basics and more. I went away and practised on my own and now feel confident to take on jobs myself and grow my skill set from there. I recently went back and did 3 days plastering to help me with my tiling, putting up plasterboards etc properly. I think that's my main point, they teach you how to do things properly to start with. I cant recommend YTA enough, really friendly teachers, a good set up with all the tools you'll need, easy to get to off the motorway and flexible. I will no doubt be going back for more courses in the future.”

“Positive The trainers there are friendly, knowledgeable and very down to earth. Environment and facilities there are in keeping with a real work environment. I was more than happy with what I learnt. Negative We are there for a short course and the staff should operate a slightly more disciplined approach to student time keeping, start and end times. This really needs to be like a week at work so you wouldn’t be half hour late so rest of the group has to wait for one or two individuals before the class can start. It’s losing the rest valuable learning time. This is really important for students to be respectful of others times.”

“I did the 5 day level 1 plumbing course, i've been in the building industry for over 30 years and never wanted to tackle anything that involved water.I did the course purely so I could carry out jobs and repairs at home. it was a great week, Lyndon was a great tutor and there was a great group of lads on the course.I learnt loads and really enjoyed the hands on practical work, you had all the tools, equipment and materials to carry out every job that was set out. The course gave me the skills and confidence to carry out a handful of jobs that I had at home which I started the saturday after the course.All jobs done brilliantly so I'm really happy with what I've learned . I will be undertaking another course next year”

“I would highly recommend the courses at YTA training. I did the plumbing course and it was brilliant. I also had a look round at what the others were getting upto and all looked really impressive. The other lads said how good their courses were. I will return back to do other courses as you learn so much and it’s all hands on ( no classroom work ). As well as learning lots, it was a good laugh. Don’t hesitate to give Lyndon and the others some banter!! They love it. Thanks Lyndon for such a great week and teaching me so much in a week. “I attended the course as a novice, now I feel confident to tackle most plumbing jobs. The course is very relaxed and well presented. There are no restrictions on supplies if you make a mistake go and help yourself to the pipe and connectors. They do not try and sell any tools but will advise on the best tools to buy. I received my certificate at the end of the course and the offer of any phone advise should I need any help on a job, what more do you want. Excellent.”
