“Yuki is a great guitarist but not a great teacher actually. I signed up for lessons with him but i found my lessons cancelled at the last minute due to his gigging responsibilities. I think i still have some credits / financial credits with him but it all got a bit too complicated. I'd look elsewhere to be honest.”

Hi there, thank you for leaving this review, and I'm very sorry for the experience you've had with Yuki. We have spoken to Yuki about this, and we absolutely will not be sending any more students his way if this is his focus. We pride ourselves on having amazing teachers, not amazing guitar players, so once again, I'm sorry that Yuki was not the right person. If you do want to call and have a chat, to try and find a better tutor for you then please get in touch.

“I’m quite an anxious musician and student so to turn up at my lesson Saturday morning and to be told that guitar academy hadn’t set up my lesson with the tutor and provided the wrong address to me, which was a major disappointment P.s I’ve been spammed so much of your lessons via email and you couldn’t even set up a lesson correctly!”

“Controlling and constantly referring to online free resources. Tutor got my name wrong 3 times and the lesson was very basic. They won’t organise a trial with any other tutors and don’t care I’m unhappy. Avoid.”

Hi James, I'm very sorry you feel this way. We always go above and beyond to make sure every student is as happy as possible. To my knowledge, you have already had 3 or 4 trial lessons with our tutors, and you were asking for another trial lesson with the same tutor you have already had a trial with. It is unfair to the tutor to take so many trial lessons as these are massively reduced fee's for the hour lesson, and our tutors are trying to make a living teaching the guitar. Once again very sorry you feel this way, I feel we have been as accommodating to your requests as we possibly can without asking too much from our tutors. I hope you understand and I apologise if you feel we couldn't help you as you like.
