“Poor experience from the get-go. Ridiculous lead time from order to delivery, no trade discount as apparently 30m isn't enough to qualify!?, Then they failed to create a trade account for future orders...
Finally when the Corten steel edging arrived it, the hammer in stakes were loose in the back of the truck just rolling around, with the driver not knowing how many there should be?? The connecting steel loops were so badly welded on some of then lengths they came clean off when installing the stakes! Plus the specification and the installation video showed 2 hoops interlocking into 1, with the stake being driven through the 3 to fix together. However all the lengths delivered only had 1 hoop at each end, so when a few broke off due to poor welds they became impossible to join together.
Needles to say all future orders of Corten for my landscaping business will be from elsewhere.”
“We ordered a planter on 29th July. We chose a pre-weathered one and the website states it doesn't require assembly. It arrived after six weeks and lots of chasing. It isn't pre-weathered, wasn't assembled and the screws we had to use are too long. The planter itself will be okay but all in all, a very disappointing experience.”
“Claire was so professional and quite superb throughout our correspondence. What a-shame the products ordered were not in anyway up to her excellence! In fact despite the fact that the 6 Stakes for the one length of 200mm wee NOT on the delivery van. There were 3 of the square welded supports that were so badly welded, two fell off and one was so no where near square on to the steel it was useless as the stake would have gone in at around 20degrees off centre.
We had to reduce the number of stakes used for the 150mm steel lengths so we could have enough for the 1 length of 200mm. I wasn’t going to ring Claire to ask where the 6 Stakes were that weren’t delivered as we would no doubt have been waiting for up to 28 days!
Badly made products in my view which made our day putting it all together that much more difficult.
Not a good experience and therefore we will not be using Weather It again for our next big corten steel project. A great shame really as it could have all gone swimmingly well if it wasn’t for the incompetence of the welders and all the stakes has turned up.”
