“Disappointing purchase and service”

“The process of purchasing products from WatchGecko and subsequently returning them and obtaining a refund was absolutely fine. The products themselves were very disappointing however. Firstly, I had waited many months for two particular watch straps to be back in stock. When they did eventually become available and I purchased them both were disappointing and not really as described or shown in the photos. I did provide the reasons why I was disappointed and why I had returned them but didn't hear anything. I don't now really have the confidence in WatchGecko to purchase any more products from them.”

“The team, shipping, and presentation were fine. However, as mentioned in my review, the strap is very uncomfortable and lifts the watch head. Since I had to put it on the watch, I cannot return it. Regardless, shipping it to the UK will only make me spend more money. I’m very disappointed”

“I sent a comment on Nov 30th about the strap not fitting between the lugs and having to file it to size. I also said that one of the spring bars could not be used so i have a part quick release strap as i fitted a standard spring bar of my own in place of the damaged bar. Nobody has come back to me with any comments”

“The quality of the watch is no doubt. However, the description of the spec for Bordeaux or Burgundy is question one, though not big difference. The strap length would be made confusion at all. The table described in 80 mm, but for whatever measured to include buckle (~90mm) or w/o buckle (~76mm) can't fit with into. (I don't write to Watchgecko mail box due to they never response on any enquires.)”

“I’ve ordered three straps on June 2nd and my order still has not been processed yet. Contacted WatchGecko via email two days ago and still no responses. This leaves me no choice but to leave a review.”

“The product is great. Unfortunately the return shipping is not. I had purchased an incorrect width. Although I am able to return the product, the postage cost to ship back to the UK is more than what I paid for the strap in the first place. Most other international strap vendors I have purchase from have a local US hub with prepaid shipping to cover local returns. Now I have a strap that will sit on my shelf without any real use as it doesn't make a lot of sense for me to return the product and pay more for it in return shipping!”

“I had a problem with army green watch strap on my order, it’s unwearable. I ordered three of the same nato straps and one is faulty. I emailed a complaint with description and pictures and received no response. I’m disappointed in the lack of communication and service.”
