“The product is awesome but I've paid extra for fast delivery and unfortunately it arrives like a normal one. It's not The Hippie Shake fault. The size is quite smaller than I've expected but I'm happy at all ☮️❤️”

“These boots are a small size 7, I wish that I had ordered a size bigger. I am hoping that they will stretch with wear as they are quite expensive for being faux suede. I didnt quite know how to return them and/or if I would be liable for extra postage costs which these days is quite expensive when items have to be sent back and forth.”

“I placed an order with the hippie shake, my order come and I received the wrong item. I contacted the team and i’m happy with how they have dealt with the incident. Although i’m very disappointed I didn’t receive the item I ordered I cant fault the team with how they dealt with it. I was offered a refund in exchange of returning the item but I decided against it as I was going to order the item I received at a later date anyway. Thank you for being very apologetic and resolving this issue. Unfortunately I didn’t receive the dress I ordered as it was a sale item and it sold out but I did receive a £15 gift card which I’m appreciative of. Thank you to Ailish who I emailed back and forth with and who ultimately resolved the matter. I would still happily continue to shop at this brand and i’ll gladly recommend to any friend looking for groovy vintage inspired clothing.”

“Overall the experience ordering went very well, site was easy to navigate, descriptions also great. I like my Penny Lane coat, I dont love it, but its growing on me-not as good as the original ones, the fur isn't as fluffy, but its blanket comfortable. Fit wise, I wear a 12-14 dep on cut, so I ordered a 24, sizes fit/measured different in the UK, worse case I would need to take it in, nope it fit. My advise buy the biggest size, you can take away, but you cant add. Shipping, I ordered on 11/24, received on 12/14. The coat went from the UK to Switzerland to NY to Chicago and finally to me in the NW burbs, creating a bigger carbon footprint than if you sent it direct, as I do when sending gifts to family in the UK and it takes less than 10 days. Will I order again, thats a maybe at best. I like the clothes, but it would need to be an item so spectacular found nowhere else. Bottomline, order, size up, prepare for a wait, and be groovy.”

“I really love all the hippie shake products, I've ordered multiple times and all the items were just beautiful and well made. The only thing that I am a little worried about are the zippers, they are really fine and dainty and sometimes get stuck when the zipper goes over connected pieces of fabric (for example the dresses). And recently the zipper popped on my favourite jumpsuit, which is really sad :( but to be fair I am wearing it a lot as it really is a showstopper ^^ I will definitely get it fixed as it is one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe”

“I’ve bought 4 products recently- the clarabella dress in green, the swimsuit, the heart sunglasses and the bikini. All are stunning quality and both online orders arrived quickly with no issues. I absolutely LOVE that most products come in an 18-20, it’s an absolute nightmare to find flattering 70s style clothing for bigger figures. I tried on a few other garments at the pop up which were all extremely flattering too which I find extremely rare as a size 18 apple shape- they seem to be almost universally flattering. I’ve only knocked off one star as I felt the bikini top wasn’t quite scaled up properly for the larger size, it still looks gorgeous but the top is very short so it looks a bit skimpy on a fuller figure compared to the model photos, and the internal removable cups are very small, I would guess the same ones are used for all sizes. It would also be nice to see even more size inclusivity for above a 20 though I appreciate this is obviously not easy for a small business. For these reasons I’ve given 4 stars, but will definitely continue to be a loyal customer.”

There were some problems with the shipment because of the Icelandic letters in my address but they were very helpful and it all worked out in the end. Can't wait to make another order!”

“Very beautiful styles but I ended up pretty disappointed in the boots I ordered (which isn't what you want for $200+ shoes). The sizing was not accurate to what was promised or how they stated conversions were. Hoping I get over them looking a bit clunky for my feet since return isn't a good option and they're a beautiful design. I do really like the body suit I got from them though and things arrived quick, even to the US.”

“I absolutely love the design of these products. I’m located in the United States and it can be hard to find these styles. I would just love to see a little bit more of a smooth transition from placing order to receiving order. A lot of the items are pre-order, which is great, but the estimated ship date gets pushed back frequently I have noticed. The change in ship date should definitely be communicated via email to those that have placed an order and are waiting. Other than the shipping disconnect, a great company with great products!”

“The quality of their clothes can be quite hit or miss. While the designs are unique and everything I would want from a retro brand, expect to see some loose stitching and occasional missing buttons/beads, which is disappointing for how expensive everything is. However, the clothes are very accurate to their retro predecessors, which is something I have never seen any modern shop successfully recreate and definetly makes me want to purchase from them again!”

“Always gorgeous designs and quality made clothes. My biggest critique is the fact that the sizing doesn’t go very high. I cannot purchase trousers from here at all because my size isn’t made. There are even a few shirts/dresses that aren’t available in my size. It makes me hesitant to order anything due to my worry about not getting a correct size.”
