Over 40 emails have been sent to the Hippie Shake and twice the same delivery never received them. Appalled by the fact they promise good service and then let you down after three months of my patience and tolerance. Seeking legal advice to get my refund which is rightly owed to me and they are dithering. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. SCAMMERS Date of experience: 13 April 2024”

A great company with great pieces that force you to smile whether you’re wearing them or just looking at them on the hanger. “Fast fashion quality for premium prices. My partner works in high end fashion and also knows how to sew. He was gagged at how cheap the quality of the garments were for the price. You really shouldn’t be calling yourself a “sustainable” or slow fashion brand just because you’re using low grade cotton for your materials. The size chart was also wildly off. I wear a pretty standard UK 10/US 6 across many brands (Lucy and yak, kitri studio, closet mod, for example) but trusted the size chart would be accurate when I sized up to a 12. I couldn’t even get the pants on. Disappointed. This brand is all marketing, pretending to be a quality brand.”

“I bought the Moonage Daydream Midnight Blue Velvet Trousers from the hippie shake recently. They arrived quickly and fit very well, but they ripped within one day of wearing them. The fabric sort of frayed, it was not just a hole in the fabric it was like the fabric sort of fell apart underneath the back pockets which created multiple holes that can't really be fixed. I was very disappointed because they were very expensive and I expected them to have higher quality. In general the hippie shake is a great website and I love some of my clothing I ordered, but I would not recommend buying the blue velvet pants.”

“I purchased the End Of The Line Stripe Knit Mini Dress. Wow it is stunning , such good quality. My neighbour had taken the parcel in as it was left in an unsafe place, although it was nearly 2 days later when he informed me .
