The team you received, Farense, are a top flight Portuguese club, in fact they are doing well at the moment with the team currently sitting 7th in the league with the chance to qualify for Europe next year if they can keep up this form - fingers crossed!

“Really dissapointed to pay so much money for a low quality Thai shirt, my lad wont wear it and neither would I. I clearly romantiscised this thinking it would be a bottom tier German club or second division Italian team last years shirt, something interesting. Instead its the cheapest nastiest Thai replica shirt as possible. It is truly horrible.”

We're really sorry to read this Craig - there is a box at checkout for you to say what you wish to avoid and so if you'd have said that you ideally wanted something from Europe we could easily have done that for you. The Police Tero shirts have been really well received by our customers (in fact you can see some customers posting their shirts online in this very kit!) and so we're really sorry that it wasn't a shirt that met your expectation.

Hi Tarna - there was a card in your Surprise Shirt box stating why we'd sent you an XL instead of a Large shirt. The shirt you've received will fit perfectly as a large shirt from our experience. We have to send shirts in different sizes as manufacturers and countries around the world follow different size guides. We know from experience that if we sent customers exactly what it states in the label, then in many cases the shirt wouldn't fit and you'd be disappointed. When you try the shirt on, you should see it's a good fit. However if you do have any problems then please don't hesitate to get in touch.

We are sorry to see that your delivery has been delayed Jordan. There do seem to be some issues with Royal Mail delivering into the Channel Islands this past week. We'll speak to Royal Mail tomorrow and make sure we call with an update.

“Sadly still not reviewed and ordered mid November. Hoping I get it soon as it’s my nephews Christmas gift. Maybe delivery options should be rethought outwith Royal Mail.”

We are extremely sorry about the delay in your delivery Jacqueline which is due to Royal Mail strike action. I've just checked and can confirm that your Surprise Shirt order has reached Edinburgh and so one assumes it will be delivered when they go back to work from Friday. We have subsequently moved our entire UK operation away from Royal Mail which has been quite a task and so we are not now behold to union strike action. We will be communicating to all affected customers via email this week with a small gesture of goodwill and have posted regular updates on our website if you require additional detail and context. We hope the wait is worth it when the order eventually arrives.

We are extremely sad to receive this review. It is the first time in two years since we started that there has been an allegation that our shirts are fakes - this is a complete untruth. We would not have such a good reviews rating if we were sending fake shirts to customers. We are very sorry that you are unhappy with the shirts received but please be assured the shirts you received were not fakes.

We are sorry to read that you've been disappointed with some of your Surprise Shirts Andrew. This always saddens us. On the subject of sizing, every shirt fits differently and so we sometimes send shirts that are a different size to the size requested, on the basis that this should be a precise fit with the customer's requirements. We add a sizing card in the box to explain why we do this. Please let us know what you don't like about the shirts you've received and we'll make sure we tailor future choices accordingly.

We are sorry you didn't like your Surprise Shirt Lewis - the Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs shirts have been really well received by our customers and lots of shirt collectors love them as can be seen by our social media output. If you were to order again, by all means say you want something a little more mainstream and we can easily sort that for you.

“Ordered 2 shirts, 1 adult & 1 child. Buzzing with the boys Torino one but I ended up with a soggy 2nd division Argentinian team. Totally get it’s a mystery but was at least expecting someone half decent or at least a team I’ve heard of. From a business perspective a first time customer buying you’d give them something to try and entice them to buy again, but unfortunately I won’t be.”
