“Love your ethos of sustainability and organic farming. Very impressed with the way you managed my order, keeping me informed of its progress, and very prompt delivery. The inclusion of a personal note from the distiller was a lovely touch. Will definitely deal with you again and will highly recommend to others.”

“I was delighted that their very tasty low fat mince was once again in stock. I collected 4 more packs yesterday - ideal size for putting in the freezer as it is. Only last month I collected 4 packs but these have already been used - cottage pie, bolognese, chilli etc, despite there only being two of us in our household. This is some of the best mince that we have ever had. I recommended it to my sister who also got some yesterday. Each 500g pack has a great long date before you have to use it - if that is important to you. It isn't for us as we use it so quickly!”

“Over the past couple of years I’ve had a few orders including meat and now the soap. Products are always great especially the beef. Great to support local small businesses. Highly recommended. Always collect my items.”

“Hi, I ordered all 3 soaps and then was away for the delivery, which was very quick, and with all the rain had visions of coming back to a soapy, bubbly mess as the parcel had been left at my side gate ….anyway thanks to good packaging all is fine and I’m looking forward to trying them out”

“I bought the steak box, we've just had the Rib Eye WOW! I'm a total carnivore, I've eaten steak all over the world, I have never had anything as good as the Lincolnshire Red steak I've just eaten. The texture was perfect, the flavour was different to any steak I've eaten. The Lincolnshire Red has its own distinct beautiful flavour, it's beef but with a warmth and depth unlike any other, difficult to describe but I would absolutely recommend anyone to try it. I've got 10 steaks left but I will be buying another steak box when my stocks get low. Loved it, as did my wife who doesn't often eat steak. Sorry about the picture, I was halfway through the steak! Also extra sorry if the picture doesn't work cos I'm not good at the tech!”

“Amazing value and excellent quality box of beef ! Made stew with the stew pack and had lots of great feedback about how tasty it was. Once our new kitchen has been installed we intend to get all our meat from South Ormsby. Can’t wait to buy and taste the poultry! We bought the soaps for sticking fillers and again feedback from our grown up children was that they loved it!”

We love the ethos: preserving the best of the past & combining it with modern expectations, protecting & encouraging wildlife and ethical farming, combined with creating business & employment opportunities. “Absolutely love South Ormsby. My family have taken part on one of the guided walks and tried the lovely beef, gin and ice cream on the walk. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and all the staff were so friendly. Everything is locally produced at the estate and they have great a community focus. I ordered some of the soap for Christmas presents and I have most of the bottles of gin which are so lovely. My favourite is the pink gin and considering my gin cupboard now has 60 gins, the Marie Jeanne’s pink gin is my favourite overall. I also love the bottles. Looking forward to looking around the house and gardens later in the year.”

“My fresh turkey arrived frozen with no explanation,no giblets,very little breast and simply not worth the £98 that I had paid.I have been waiting for someone to ring me so that Il could discuss the situation. I would not buy from you again or recommend you. IF an explanation was given on collection I would have understood but to have no contact is not acceptable and not good business practice”

“Spectacular bird, and so big we struggled to get it in the oven!! Wonderful. Though I must say, I was rather disappointed not to have the giblets for the gravy. Otherwise, super tasty bird.”

“Following a visit to the estate including a guided walk and tour and tasting session in the distillery, we purchased the Christmas special pink gin. It did not disappoint, a really great tasting gin and a great place to visit and sample the current gins.”

“We recently (21 December 2022) had a very pleasant day out at the South Ormsby Estate when we called in to collect our Christmas poultry order. Over hot drinks and mince pies, we chatted with the friendly staff about the running of the estate and their future plans for it, after which we went for an enjoyable, fairly long walk around the estate in the bright winter weather. Regarding our poultry order, the online ordering process was straightforward and our poultry was waiting when we arrived. The turkey breast - conveniently cut into two portions - was deliciously moist and tasty, and a world away from the dry and bland turkeys sold at supermarkets. Each portion was good for 4 - 5 generous servings, with no waste. We are now looking forward to trying the rest of our order, the Lincolnshire Buff chicken. We are looking forward to our next visit to the estate, and we wish the owners, their staff and volunteers every success with their future plans here.”
