Previously shopped with valley mill and excellent service. However, on this occasion, delivery was due by 31/01, but item had still not arrived on 04/02. Gift was for a birthday today. No tracking information provided, so unable to track order.

This is the second one I’ve purchased and I have to say I am a little surprised at the quality. The front looks brilliant but the hardboard to enable the picture frame to stand is positioned too high. The photo frame topples over so I have had a place a small plinth to rear of frame to allow it to stand

The slate photoframe I bought couldn’t hold its own weight with the stand provided, very flimsy.

Hi Michael, We're very sorry to hear this. We aim for the best possible print quality possible based on the image we are given, however, this can sometimes mean that the image appears a little darker than you would like. It is important to remember that viewing a photo printed onto a fabric phone case will not benefit from the backlight that you would get from viewing it on an electronic device. If you ever have any issue with a product or service of ours, then we would always recommend contacting us before leaving a review so we can see if we can work towards a solution for you. 1 week late on manufacturing, now DPD are not delivering even though they have had for a week, just saying unexpected issue. No satisfactory customer service and now emailing to say closed on the 22nd but it is only the 21st Obviously do not wish to assist

Hi Gary, We give an expected delivery date, and as the wording suggests, this is an estimate and not a guarantee. Your estimated date was given as the 13th December, and we dispatched on the 16th - still with plenty of time for Christmas delivery. We do apologise that we slightly overshot our estimate, but the entire company is a tiny team of seven people working tirelessly to ensure every customer order (and large wholesale orders for our trade customers) is completed and has left the workshop - we are proud to say that we achieved that. Your parcel has been delayed due to DPD themselves, and that is something that is totally out of our control. I notice that your postcode is one that DPD has listed as one of the areas in which they are currently experiencing issues, and all that can be done is to have patience and hope that delivery is made before the 23rd. Any review on reviews.io and indeed our website and social media confirms that our customer service is excellent - the reason you received an email saying that we are closed is that we closed for Christmas as of the 21st at 1 pm, and so your email sent at 2:26 pm received our automatic reply. That said, we still endeavour to monitor emails so that we can offer support and answer queries, despite being on a well-deserved holiday. We think your review is rather unfair as we were not as late sending the order out as you suggest and we offer as much assistance as we possibly can. Couriers are a necessary evil, unfortunately, and we would love everything to be perfect because our customers deserve that. I sent an email to you on the 15th December as soon as these coasters were delivered, along with images of the coasters as I am disappointed with them. As yet, I have not received any reply or acknowledgement from you to this email.

Waited over a month and still no joy. No notification as to why a delay. Finally phoned the office and lo our order was here in 24 hours. What?!!!! Product is nice.

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your review - our standard turnaround time for house signs is approximately three weeks, give or take during busier times (i.e. the run-up to Christmas). We recently suffered a delay due to a staff member coming down with Covid, and so that held us up by about a week. We do give estimated dates for arrival, but we do advise that these can't be offered as firm guarantees for obvious reasons. When you enquired as to what stage of completion your order was at, it was coincidentally nearly ready to go and so was able to be sent out. Glad you like the product though!

Signs are just ok for the money not as nice as I was hoping for, feel really boxy and totally machines produced. Wanted something more rustic and these signs don’t hit the mark for me. Also delivery wasn’t great either, no courier notice. Overall I wouldn’t order again.

Hi Alexandra! We're quite disappointed to see this - maybe you could give us a little more information in regards to your order and where you feel it fell short? Our Customer Care team are reachable by email and phone Monday-Friday from 10-4 and we can help you with any aspect of your order, at any stage of its progress :) I notice that you chose the 'chamfered' option as the edge style on your house signs - these are the smooth, straight edges that give it a bevelled effect. Did you know that we also have a chipped edge style, that would give the slate a more authentic, rustic looking edge? This might have been more suited to your needs! We also ship via DPD and they sent an automatic notification once we dispatch, and you should get one from us too. DPD will also send another notification the next working day, when the parcel is out for delivery, to let you know what time of day to expect it.
