Website stated writing is white could hardly read writing and let company know and they told me that off white is white! Not happy with response or quality of product!

Beautifully made sign shame the fixing are so poorly drilled. The mounting holes in the back of the sign are not even vaguely level with the sign. All four mounting holes different depths from the top and sides of the sign making getting it level on the wall almost impossible. Get holes in the sign to mount not pins. Shame - lovely product inept mounting system - steer clear!!!!

As yet I haven't received my order. Having been told it was arriving on the 14th Sept it didn't then while I was away it was delivered but not left, not with a neighbour nor in my porch, but returned to 'Depot'. Only just home so hope it is there. I paid over £5 for a postal service I haven't received.

Hi Christopher, Every item on our website is given an estimated delivery date, but it is stated that these are not firm guarantees, and can only be estimated due to reasons beyond our control. This item was dispatched by us on the 15th of September, and the tracking for Parcelforce states that delivery attempts were made to you on the 18th, 19th, and 20th of September, leaving them no other option but to leave it at the depot for you to collect when convenient, which I can see that you now have done. In each case, Parcelforce would send you an SMS/email with options, so if you know you're not going to be in then you would be able to nominate a safe place or a neighbour. We have very little control over how Parcelforce chooses to deliver, but we have even less control over customers being able to manage their own deliveries. Granted, we dispatched a little later than we would have liked to - we will hold our hands up and admit fault there. But to rate us 1-star as a company for this is incredibly unfair. Hi Gillian, This item was dispatched by us on 8th August, with an estimated delivery date of 9th August. I'm sorry, but we cannot be held accountable for delays with Royal Mail - as I'm sure you can appreciate, these things can and will happen occasionally, and we have no control over them. It is rather unfair, then, that you have rated us 1-star as a company when we have done everything that we were supposed to. For such a small company as ourselves, a blow to our rating such as this can be very damaging. As I can see that this item was actually delivered to you on the 12th of August, please can you amend this rating? Kind regards Valley Mill

Hi Annis, I can see that your house sign was dispatched yesterday (20th) and so should arrive with you and is out for delivery today. We gave an estimated date of the 18th July for delivery, but this is only an estimate and so times can vary. We do apologise that this hasn't hit the estimate, but we do feel that a 1-star review is quite unfair and can be quite damaging to such a little business as ourselves! Hi Paul, Apologies for the delay in this getting to you - we offer the delivery date as an estimate and not a guarantee, so the delivery dates are not firm, and the extra day's delay was due to the fact that we have only just reopened after a month-long hiatus while we moved our workshop premises. I can see from the tracking details that this was dispatched by us on 13/4/23, and ordinarily, this would arrive the next working day. However, I can see that you are an Isle of Wight resident, and therefore you must make extra allowances for delivery - Parcelforce would take an extra working day to deliver, hence the reason that you will receive it today (Monday) after the weekend. With that in mind, to leave us a 1-star review is rather unfair and is damaging to us as a small company. We also have a dedicated Customer Service operator that could have helped you, if you were to have reached out to us. Would you kindly amend your review, please? Kind regards Valley Mill
I can’t comment on the product as it has been bought as a present for friends in France which brings me to my disappointment. I accept that £20 postage is high but understandable however I was not prepared for a further customs charge of 16.50 euros. I was advised that this is in the terms and conditions but it should be highlighted within the price payable. A cheeseboard costing just under £27 has cost £37 to deliver.

The tealight holder I orderedwas wrapped in white paper prior to packing,the holder was painted but the paint had not fully dried and the paper was stuck to the face an awful mess to clean off,also the beard oil supplied has no scent whatsoever,what a wast of time and money- please let me have your return instructions,and who pays the return postage? Dave
