“I bought a pair of gloves rated for extreme cold. At 0C my hands froze using them. Neither the shop I bought them from nor Sealskinz would refund. Sealskinz then offered extra inners. The first pair arrived with loose stitching. They sent another pair, which also arrived with holes in them. At this point I gave up on this. The original gloves I bought using their sizing chart. Obviously this will be different using inners. Now the seams on my Witton gloves are tearing loose as it is the wrong size. Honestly, avoid Sealskinz like the plague. Bad quality, bad service and dishonest advertising.”

“Interesting and imaginative products. Sole drawback (for me) is that the Wolferton gloves I bought in L run very, very small at the wrist. Impossible for me to use (even though L is my usual size) but I gifted them to a grateful wife!”

“I havent received my parcel. I ordered ca 20 days ago. Parcel tracker didnt work i wrote about it to clients service, still nothing. I had to vancel my hiking for this weekend.”

“Gloves look great, very smart but offer very little in the way of warmth. I also bought a pair for my wife which fitted so badly we had to send them back. This was fine and easy to do and the refund was prompt. The second pair for myself look great but offer very little warmth in the cold which is a shame.”

“Very tight around the fingers (and thumb) and I don't have sausage hands, palm width is good, the glove fingers are also quite long, but probably the better trade off vs tight palms, so check for palm fit over hand length. The leather is smooth and supple (once worn a little). no checked the water proofing yet, but they have offered good wind resistance and warmth in -5°C windchill.”

“1. Slow shipment. I placed my order with Sealskinz.ca on Jan 2. It was dispatched within a couple days, but then sat with the delivery service for nearly 2 weeks without any movement. It was finally delivered Jan 24, over 3 weeks after ordering. 2. The fit is ridiculously small. My hand measurement around the knuckles (as the size guide recommends) is 22 cm. That is a little smaller than your Men's Medium size. Just to make sure, I ordered not a Large, but an Men's Extra Large. When I received them and tried the XL size on, I could barely get them on my hand, it's like trying to pull on a child's glove, and when I finally do pull them on they are very tight. I attach a photo and video illustrating this. I find this fit problem extremely irritating. For online sales, especially when I'm responsible for paying for return shipment, you should be more accurate than this. The package says "Unisex XL", is that the same as Women's XL? 3. To initiate a return, your website directs me to contact you at this page: https://www.sealskinz.com/pages/contact-us. I filled the form, wrote a description, and attached files, but when I hit Send nothing happens. I tried with and without files, several times, on 2 browsers, but I can't get the contact-us form to send. So I can't even initiate a return. I really hope I'm not stuck with these ridiculous and expensive gloves.”

“I bought a pair of heated cycling gloves which are amazing. One battery didn't charge properly so I contacted customer care. The AI bot that told me SS could not send me a replacement battery as they are classed as dangerous goods. After getting really annoyed I finally got through to a human (Sophie) who sorted out a new battery. Sack the AI and get more Sophie's please Sealskinz. 10/10 for the product, 0/10 for Nelson the AI bot.”

“Feet warm when you’re out in the water rowing is a must and despite feeling the cold whilst stepping on water on shore feet stayed completely dried, wished fir warmer toes but totally worth buying these socks, protected all the way to the knees. Thanks”
