“This is the first time I have bought a GPS collar for my cat, and I really a, glad I did! It is great to be able to see where your cat is, where they tend to go and help find them if they have been gone too long. It is good quality and their price plans are brilliant, making it affordable. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to a lack of reflective surface on the collar. My cat is pure black and I would have liked to have had reflective part of the collar for his safety in the evening. It is definitely worth the money. The collar is light and not too bulky, which is perfect. I would highly recommend.”

“As a cat owner of two new kittens, I fully researched a number of products and decided on petTracer for the GPS and Radio options - as the most likely place a cat will get locked in is a shed meaning GOS may not work. The initial setup was flakey - didn’t recognise devices but working in IT I know how to fix these, a novice may struggle. Also website kept popping up in the wrong launage. But Once up and running, we have been extremely pleased with the way it works. Battery life is an issue but we have it on middle updates while they are still exploring my neighbours gardens, this should improve when we set it to the lowest (although 30 days seems a stretch). Gives a real piece of mind, and glad we purchased this.”

“This has been a great purchase and does exactly what we need.. Shows us where the cat is and the areas he frequents. Not cheap but the peace of mind it gives is worth the money.. Best device out in market place currently. My only reservation and therefore 4stars is the lack of helpline and the setting up and use is not as straightforward as it could be.”

“A very useful piece of kit as can now keep track of my cats whereabouts. Only downside is the collar comes off way too easily, the location is not always exact so spent many hours looking under hedges for it. Would help if the collar had other colour choices not just black!”

“Brilliant device as interesting to see my cats movements but not always accurate, cat has come home but still says he’s elsewhere! Other frustrating thing is collar comes off way too easily.”

“We decided to get a petTracer collar after our cat come home with wet, dirty paws in the evenings even though it hadn’t rained for weeks. We just couldn’t figure out where he was going and thought it was a bit weird. Turns out there’s a pond thing in a nearby field and he likes that area 🤷🏽‍♀️. We love stalking our little buddy.”

“I like the collar and the app that comes with it. My son to helped me to set it all up. I love watching where my cat goes. At 1st I thought it was a bit pricey but with the monthly subscription payments to divide the cost it's actually ok and would not leave my cat out without it”

“Thank you so much for all the support setting it up. It could be easier but I do appreciate that changes are being made to be improved. Now that it is all working I can see how far my kitties go, which is actually not that far :)”

“Yep! it does what is says on the tin :) Maybe in the future you can add a beeper. I've used a Tile on my one and it is good but wish it was included”

“Overall this tracker will def give you piece of mind when on your cat. It's not without its cons however the pros far out weight the cons in my opinion. Here are my pros 1) High quality product compared to others 2) Once setup correctly the map and tracking works perfectly. 3) if you cat is muscular or big this collar looks good. 4) finding the collar is so easy if you lose the cat or collar* (* see below) 5) gps, infrared and led light makes this unbeatable in location finding especially at night. 6) customer service is very helpful 7) battery life last much longer than competition by a country mile. Even on higher settings Some cons 1) setup appears easy and simple but actually making it work can be problematic. I had to translate German too with mine (I was told this has been rectified by CS) 2) must have a pc for setup 3) once your used to the functionality of dashboard its easy but getting to know the main page is daunting. 4) * (from above) The blue collar is weak if you have a big cat buy the black collars in shop as well, otherwise you be out looking for the collar not your cat. 5) cost of monthly payment is high compared to others on market and can't leave early unless you pay full price of subscription. Overall I am now using black collars and have got used to the website. I can see exactly where my cat goes and where she hangs out. She is a very active cat and l love the fact I can monitor her whereabouts. A must have for cat owners, no price can find your cat if it goes missing PetTracer is the best product out there for tracking!”

“We moved over from a PawTrack device after becoming frustrated with it always failing to connect in our “semi-rural” location. Although the PetTracer still doesn’t ALWAYS tell us where he is on the fastest speed mode if I put it on to search mode I can always find him which is great as he has night blindness and must be home before dark. The only thing that would make the device perfect would be the two things I miss about PawTrack. 1) PawTrack sends push notifications via the app when the batteries are low so I don’t need to check my email to know it needs to be charged. 2) There is a terrible road near to our home that people regularly speed on, the Geofencing setting on the PawTrack was handy because it told me if he was going too close to that road so I could go out and scoop him up. Other than that this has appeared to be a superior product.”

“Very good and have put the whole family at ease knowing how far our cat goes. I bought the black bands as I wanted a more secure collar for my cat. Only reason to not give it 5 stars is that I wished they came with the set instead that as an add on.”

“Well, I was a little sceptical at first but chose petTracer after our cat disappeared for 4 days but came back. He roams in the summer and we needed to keep tabs on him. After initial setup and learning how to use the system, we have been able to follow him carefully and worked out his main haunts. The only thing stopping me giving 5/5 is that the life is not as good as I thought on standard mode and the collar needs a charge every couple of days, which we do when he is resting so not a problem. He has slipped his collar twice as I did not want it too tight, and in the first case GPS was accurate enough to find the collar in a neighbours garden, and the second time we thought it was lost but the radio tracker worked a teta and we found it near some rubbish bins and out of GPS range - it really was easy to find and the LED light feature helped us this time. Experience is very good, support is excellent and well worth buying.”

“Love the idea of the pet tracer but quite often there is no satellite signal. Although Bella’s collar has been lost twice and both times we’ve found it!”

“I use it daily on my two cats to see where they go. They don't actually go far. I like that I can select any particular time frame in the portal to see their natural territory and it is fascinating to see how it has slowly changed over time.”

“PetTracer has been brilliant with my cat, relying on GPS instead of cellular data which is poor in my area. I can see where my cat is at anytime. Only recommendation I have is that it would be useful to have a beep in built in to the collar when they lose it, which mine often does due to being in cat fights. Gets quite hard to find the collar in a bush without it. I have combined this with a tabcat finder and the two work so well together. I love the app and being able to find him when we need to get him in. It also doesn’t bother him one bit as it’s so light!”

“I do love the petTracer. I had a radio collar before, but the benefits are the realtime GPS tracking and also the fact it signals when the battery power is low. Have never had to use it to locate a cat yet, but have had to locate the lost collar a few times and always found it. Had to install a second homestation to get good coverage, but was simple enough to do and the after sales service is very good.”

“We have no mobile reception in our area so we looked for a tracker that was not dependant on mobile phone. We are very happy that we found pettracer although we wish the range of the homestation was longer.”
