We moved over from a PawTrack device after becoming frustrated with it always failing to connect in our “semi-rural” location. Although the PetTracer still doesn’t ALWAYS tell us where he is on the fastest speed mode if I put it on to search mode I can always find him which is great as he has night blindness and must be home before dark. The only thing that would make the device perfect would be the two things I miss about PawTrack. 1) PawTrack sends push notifications via the app when the batteries are low so I don’t need to check my email to know it needs to be charged. 2) There is a terrible road near to our home that people regularly speed on, the Geofencing setting on the PawTrack was handy because it told me if he was going too close to that road so I could go out and scoop him up. Other than that this has appeared to be a superior product.
