“I have no issues with oilfast, but i joined an oil club for more competitive prices, only to discover oilfast ended up as the supplier at the reduced rate, leaving me with a distinct feeling of having been ripped off for earlier orders.”

“I was not amused to initially be quoted a hugely inflated price, nor was I impressed that payment was requested with order. As a regular customer, you should know that I pay within a very short time of receiving an invoice, often immediately. I kept the score at 'acceptable' as the price finally agreed, delivery on time, and rebate for overpayment were satisfactory.”

“At onetime you could rely on oilfast to ve charging a competitive price but my recent experience was that they were charging way above the opposition and had to challenge the price”

“Whilst I had a good experience making the order, and getting a suitable date for delivery as we had run out of oil it was disappointing that this didn't materialise as their vehicle broke down (or so they said). Even though we had been without oil for 5 days, they still were unable to assist and we had to wait a further 4 or 5 days for delivery. Not the best experience as a new customer.”

“Good delivery service but disappointed that I didn’t get a legally printed meter reading marking the BEFORE and AFTER fill . This was Not marked on delivery note or on the bill from Oilfast. 700 Litres were delivered but no numerical proof that was the case. Have e-mailed oil fast about this but to date No response.”

“Happy enough with the delivery we had, but I did ask if they would phone or text me to say the day before when it would be delivered as I wasn’t at the house, but luckily a friend was stopping over so she could let him unlock the lock to make delivery, otherwise we would have been stuck without delivery as the lock is always on the tank.”

“Driver alway very helpful. Oil fast need to introduce an emergency delivery (yes, we understand a premium might need to be paid) If one runs out of oil (it can and does happen), being advised it “might be a week or so before we can get to you” = OK, I’ll use a different provider!”

“Competitive price and a quick delivery . However the score reflects how they didn’t follow delivery instructions. We told them to reverse up the drive due to tight turn around and to deliver to us last on a lighter load due to our access road weight restrictions. So we are hoping that next time this is adhered to .”

“Price was very good and delivery quick enough. I didn't like having to give my credit card details over the phone and wouldn't use the service again for that sole reason. Your questionaire makes no sense”

“Gave my neighbour better price than originally gave me although it was me who told neighbour about you so I told you what price you gave them and you gave that to me to Motherwell”

“Don’t really know what happened to my order but I had to call depot to see why my order wasn’t delivered when it was supposed to be delivered . It all got sorted out promptly .All good again”

“On the whole I’d like to give a 5 star review. The prices are always good, the telephone staff are always polite and very helpful. Drivers friendly. BUT I’m on the automatic top up scheme and 3 times now, actually maybe 4 I’ve run out of oil Last time was winter and had no heating or hot water for 2-3 days as it fell on the weekend”

“Speed of delivery not nearly as good as it was a few years ago. I pay monthly and would expect my delivery quicker than that of a casual customer but that doesn’t seem to be the case. When I called to check when my delivery was due recently the woman at the end of the phone was very abrupt and couldn’t wait to get me off the line. I must say that is not always the case and perhaps this was a one off. The delivery drivers have all been excellent and every one of them have been pleasant and well mannered….i must admit to not being keen to rate a business especially if not everything I have to say is good but you did request a review so I’ve answered as I’ve found”

“I wasn't there so this is all hearsay but your guys attempted at first to deliver to our neighbours (as they had been there before). I mentioned that we were neighbours of your existing customers when I booked and I left very clear instructions (which were on the ticket) about the tank being on the shoreline. Unfortunately your guys jumped to a conclusion without looking at the ticket. No harm done in fact but it seems to me the potential for this kind of mistake to happen is quite high. Given the value of the commodity you're dealing with I would have expected a stricter checking process. We will happily deal with you again but would like some reassurance that this could not happen again. Frank Reid 07860 104653.”
