“I asked for oil to be delivered, as I was working away from home, I received a delivery invoice and a bill. I payed the bill £800+, got home and after a few days my system ran dry, investigated, and tank empty. Took 3 days before Oilfast admitted they hadnt delivered to me, Took further 2 deliveries to deliver original amount”

“Last time I ordered oil it took them two weeks to deliver it I had to phone and ask them where my heating oil is when I phoned them I got it next day Insch depot”

“I use the Grangemouth Depot and pay by card when ordering. I was very annoyed to have to phone again and ask why my delivery had failed to arrive. Apparently it had been overlooked. This was not the high level of service I have been used to from the Depot. The delivery men and vehicles are always clean and tidy and very efficient. The driver apologised but I had run out of oil during a very cold spell. I take it this will not happen again.”

“Policy on managing accounts seems draconian and needs to be reviewed. I have been a customer for five years and in credit with my account for the majority of that time. Over the past few months I have gone into arrears due to escalating oil prices ( this will be cleared with my next monthly direct debit) but have now been informed that although I will have cleared this debt in the next month, since it is the anniversary of my account being reviewed I will need to pay in full for any oil I now need. This will mean an outlay of £1000 upfront. Obviously the price of oil has increased dramatically so I will review again my use of oil over the year to ensure I am paying enough monthly to cover my usage but this attitude of not working with the customer to come up with a plan to cover costs drives me to look for another supplier”
