It was really interesting and I will pay more attention to it if I fly in the future. The main tips, if you are prone to it or if you have a weakened immune system, are 1. wear a mask. 2. Keep hydrated and help your immune system with vitamins etc before you go.
On the flight out I wore a mask, turned off the overhead air con, and drank plenty of water. Everything was good and I enjoyed my holiday. Sadly, I got a bit "cocky" on the way back - didn't wear the mask, cut down fluids to avoid trips to the loo and ate a junky bacon roll. Guess what? 3 days later I started a severe chest infection, the threat of being admitted to hospital and a double course of antibiotics. I feel much better now but it has taken 4 weeks to clear so thank you to My Pharmacy for the tips!!!”

“Because I made the order at the start of a weekend there was a slight delay getting approval for the drug I needed for my mother’s angina. I also made the error of ordering just before my holiday so there was a lot of stress as to whether it would arrive in time. Overall it was only about a day overdue as I had fortunately ordered next day delivery. The parcel arrived one hour before I was due to leave for the airport so I just managed to get my mother a supply of her medication without needing to try to get through to her GP or cardiologist. My Pharmacy nevertheless asked the relevant questions about why the drug was needed and what type of patient was going to use the drug.
