About Little Mouse Baby Clothing and Gifts Ltd:

Founded by a Senior Neonatal Nurse in 2017, Little Mouse Baby Clothing and Gifts is an independent family-run business specialising in quality clothes, accessories and gifts for premature babies (and now bigger babies too!).

You won't find a wider range of premature baby clothes anywhere in the UK, with lovely clothing for babies weighing 1.5lb upwards. We focus on practical, right-sized, and stylish baby clothes, with lots of organic items too.

Orders are sent in lovely plastic-free packaging as standard, with worldwide delivery available, including free delivery in the UK.

“The service is very good I got a lovely premature pram suit as I couldn’t access one in Ireland. I ended up paying a delivery charge and also had to pay considerable customs charge. Pity I wasn’t warned of this when buying.”

Thanks for shopping with us from Ireland. It is such a shame there is limited choice there, we hear that a lot. Unfortunately since Brexit there are customs charges to pay when ordering from the UK to Ireland and the rest of the EU. We do remind shoppers of this on our website, but we appreciate that it can be missed. We have no control over customs charges, and unfortunately it appears they can be inconsistent which is strange. We complete the customs declarations correctly. Thanks for your kind words about the pramsuit and service. I am pleased you are happy with what arrived, even if it cost more than hoped.

“One of the items I ordered was showing as available but then I had a call to say it had been taken off the site. The gift was sent to ireland and I didn’t realise I had to pay customs. Should be much clearer on the website.”

“They are lovely cardigans and good sizes for my premature grandkids but with delivery I do feel nearly £25 for 2 teeny tiny cardigans is expensive, especially as having premature babies is out of people's control, and do feel some companies to overcharge for clothes small enough to fit dolls because premature clothes are only online.”

Regarding your comments about pricing, we’d love to be able to offer lower prices but our business wouldn’t be sustainable if we did. Our margins are very tight. Premature baby clothing is niche, it’s made in small batches and mostly made in the UK and Europe, not in the far east, so it costs more. Very best wishes to you and your little grandchildren. “Ordering was perfect as was the delivery. Packaging was crammed into a tiny envelope so items were creased. Sizing for the 'complete ' outfit was not as advertised. I will not use this business again.”

I'm so sorry to hear the items arrived creased, we take great pride in carefully packaging items, and have lots of lovely feedback about that, so I'm sorry it wasn't as expected. We choose the packaging we use so packages can fit through a letterbox where possible, so they can be delivered at the first attempt, but we of course rely on the postie to be careful to not crumple it. Sorry to hear the sizing of the outfit wasn't right for your little one. Those items are some of our biggest sellers (we sell dozens a week!) with lots of great reviews, however we appreciate that sometimes an item won't fit every baby the same. This is why we offer a 30 day returns period which you'll find on our website. If you'd like to exchange for an alternative and wish for us to offer some guidance please do get in touch, we can even measure items for you so you can compare them to your baby's size/length. “I bought some lovely hats and socks which are perfect. I also bought the Blue Bear Snowsuit / Pramsuit for my 2.3kg baby in size 5-8lb but its a struggle to get my baby into it.”

“the website let me place an order for an out of stock item so I had to pay an extra £3 for a product that actually was in stock. I would have expected that maybe this charge could have been waived as a goodwill gesture but sadly not. Despite that the delivery was quick and I am happy with my product.”

Hi Emma I'm sorry we had an issue with the stock numbers of the mitts you wanted. It's very rare we make a mistake like that and I apologise it affected you. If the mitts were part of a larger order we would have waived the £3, but as it was the only item you ordered we couldn't I'm afraid as we'd have lost money on your order as margins are tight. We did offer to cancel your order and refund you if you didn't want the alternative offered. I'm pleased to hear you are happy with the mitts you received and the package got to you quickly. Hi Eve, thanks for shopping with us, we do sincerely appreciate it. We do in fact have our own brand clothing, it's the Tiny & Small brand which is exclusively sold by us online in the UK. Also most of the brands we sell are only available on our website in the UK. It's taken years to find all these premature baby specialist brands from lots of different countries around the world. There are a couple of the value ranges that are also available on Amazon and eBay, we know that, but we offer a much wider choice, lovely and sustainable packaging, and are 5 star rated for our delivery speed and customer service, so we feel we offer very good value for money.
