Sorry about the way the plant arrived with you! A FULL refund has now been issued! We have also carried out an internal investigation to find out why this was sent out, and why it was sent out on a Friday as it was left all weekend in a postal depot on what was one of the hottest weekends of the year! We hope you come back and shop with us in the future!

“Placed an order on 7th August at 16.37 for an item shown on the website as in stock and dispatched within 24 hours. Money removed from my account by 16.38. Had to email Lincs Aquatics to find out what was happening with my order as i had heard nothing by the 11th. Joe Stubbs replied that they were waiting for stock. So, In stock with 24 hour dispatch was no more than click bait.”

Sorry for any confusion that had regarding your recent purchase and our website. Your first point mentions payment, this is standard practice for when a payment is made online funds are taken, normally immediately and we have very little control over this! We have 2 stores and a warehouse and our website takes into account all the stock that is available to us, it happened to be that the item you ordered was located in our Bawtry store and not in our warehouse. This caused some delays in getting the item to you, as we needed to get it from our other store! We understand that this is not ideal, and we are still working on ways to improve this! There is a system in place where you should have received an automatic email just explaining this to you, however looking at the emails you did receive, this was not one of them and is something I have raised with our website platform to have a look into for us. We do try and ship the majority of orders within 24 hours. This is not clickbait! Looking back over the last month the vast majority were marked as dispatched within 24 hours, orders on Friday and Saturday averaged higher due to we do not ship over the weekend, and those that have picked a delivery date are excluded from this.
