“I ordered a minichamp alloy which didn't arrive. I emailed and had replacement sent out the day I told them. No questions, just a new one sent out. I got that 2 days later. great communication and customer service throughout and would purchase from them again, very happy. Gregg”

“Good value, for the price. The steel is good. The chef knife is really good. The steak knifes are also good. The utility and parring knives not so, the blade is a bit too thick (but still usable). The wooden knife block is good quality. The scissors are good, but chamfering was not done at the factory, so I had to do it with a file. The sharpening steel is of wrong hardness, completely unusable, the only bad piece in the set. But the block has a nice hole for it, so I put my own steel there.”

“This cast iron pot is perfect to use for breadbaking. Because the top is shallow and has no protruding knob the dough can sit easily in the lid which has just enough lip to contain the dough. The main body of the pot then acts as a lid. I've been looking for one of these for ages for my sourdough and finally have found one that I find easy to use and at a reasonable price.”

“The knives I ordered are fabulous. Top notch. Delighted. The carriers used are not great. One was Malmo by Amazon and the other The Royal Mail. Both these carriers just threw the knives over my fence despite the instructions clearly stating that a signature was required and proof of ID and these knives are potentially very dangerous weapons. Considering the level of knife crime amongst young people, it is shocking that the carriers did not act more responsibly and get a signature for the items and ensure that the person who was receiving them was over 18 years of age. 😡”
