Would like to give zero. Took my money 4 weeks ago and no sign of delivery. As with other reviewers I have found them impossible to contact. Worst customer experience I have ever experienced. Avoid at all costs. Now taking legal action

Paid £85 for topsoil which was due to be delivered 3 days ago. It didn't arrive and the company aren't answering the phone or responding to emails. Terrible customer service. Worst I've ever experienced. I've been in touch with Trading Standards about the company. They have been very helpful.

Avoid this company!! Ordered 1 Ton bag over. Month ago, I have been given 2 delivery dates but my order has not arrived.. No communication, Poor customer service, After many emails and no reply and trying for weeks to call and speak to someone for an update I finally got through this morning and I am now told after 6 weeks they do not have stock and I will get a refund in 14 days !!

Worst experience ever! They don't deliver what you have ordered and paid for. Impossible to contact them, as only automated emails and nobody answer phone calls. They gives delivery dates from the start which isn't true. When Day arrive, and you look at the tracking, it says further ahead. And this just go on and on. All in all nothing better than a scam company, which we now have reported to several instances.

Awful experience! Avoid Avoid Avoid!!! Ordered bulk bag of pebbles on 29th May and was given Friday 12th June as the earliest date of delivery. A little frustrating but accepted it was a difficult time and wasn’t in any real hurry and so proceeded anyway. Got an email immediately after saying the order and date were confirmed and so thought all was ok. Emailed the company as the 12th approached to check everything was ok (Phone lines were not being answered) as hadn’t had any further communication from them and no reply, the 12th came round and still couldn’t get hold of gravel master and so called the delivery company who confirmed they hadn’t received the items from gravel master to deliver. Finally managed to get hold of them on the 15th and they said it would be another few weeks before we received the item and so asked for it to be cancelled and a refund processed, received an email to confirm this and so thought my dealings with them were done... Tuesday 23rd June and a lorry turns up trying to deliver the pebbles! Had already placed a new order with a different company on the 15th that were delivered on the 17th and so we sent the driver away. Spent nearly 2 hours to try and get through to customer services to be told that the refund still hadn’t been processed and so I guess the order was never cancelled. I’m still awaiting the refund but would definitely not deal with this company ever again!

Awful company, been ripped off and LIED too. Fed up tried everything to contact them but its impossible. Happily still taking orders off poor unsuspecting customers shame on the lot of you

I placed an order on the 26th April 2020, so far all I have received are automated emails, empty promises and lies! If you are considering doing business with this company then hang onto your money like they’ve hung onto mine!

They keep your money and their product. Should be pursued by Trading Standards. Not worth a personal civil case, but avoid at all costs! Zero stars!!!

Shocking experience, poor soil quality, and even worse customer service! After almost two months of struggling with the communication with them (I tried calling them several times, but after waiting 45 minutes for someone to answer the phone, I gave up) about my refund for the soil, firstly, I didn't accept the order and returned it immediately, secondly, it was delivered with almost two-week delay without notice, the website states that it should be delivered within two to three days, not weeks when the garden was ready! And thirdly and most importantly, the reason for my return, the soil was of very poor quality, lots of stones, sticks and it looked like street dirt. Finally, after a few emails and argue, try to explain that the soil was very poor quality and I had photos to prove it but still not accepted/ignored by them I was offered a refund but they will keep £ 50 from the order so that's 55 % of order price for the return fee, shocking. So don't be encouraged by the fact that they are a bit cheaper than others (which is not true because I found a better offer and great quality soil with next day delivery and cheaper) because now it turns out that this is the most expensive soil I have bought and I do not have it!

Do not order with this company it’s a SCAM! Only received half my order so naturally when you try to make contact nobody answers the phone. The live chat is dodgy - they ask for you’re name & email & then the conversation ends. They send pathetic automated responses to emails. Take note of the delivery company should you receive anything..if your lucky & then you will track the order back to its source as a point of contact should you take legal proceedings. I have now reported this company to the police & now I’m taking legal action.

Terrible terrible customer service. Ordered 2 bags and only 1 arrived. No explanation from the company. Tried ringing but Alle you get is a messages and held in a Queue...o must have spent over 3 hrs overall trying to get through. I have not had a response to my emails and no one answers on chat. It's a Shambles of a company and terrible service. They take your money Bute do not deliver. Avoid this poor third rate company.

Ordered gravel on the 3rd of April and they stated it would be here on the 20th but it didn't arrive tried phone them but after being on hold for hours on end I gave up it ended arriving on the 28th. I had to to call TPN to find out where my gravel was and they were better in dealing with it than the sender ill not order from gravel master again

I can't believe any company would have such an appalling level of service, so have concluded this is a fraudulent company. Paid for goods 4 weeks ago, received nothing, despite a delivery date (now long passed). Have emailed, telephoned (all given extention numbers) tried 'live chat' all on several occasions over the last seven days, no response from any avenue. DO NOT USE GRAVELMASTER, this is a scam site.

I also believe this company to be a scam. I’ve tried for days to get hold of them as my delivery did not arrive. I’m currently £145 out of pocket with no response whatsoever. I would not recommend this company to anyone

Breach of contract - unfair cancellation and delivery process coupled with poor customer service Ordered 2 x bulk bags of soil, after a failed attempt by a 20-tonne vehicle by the hauliers of Gravelmastr (as a result of one of the en-route roads being blocked for repairs). The company then agreed to deliver the products in a smaller 7.5-tonne vehicle and emailed me to confirm delivery which I was initially pleased with. An hour later, I had a call from another agent to say, the delivery was now not possible. They refused to arrange delivery, after having initially agreed to do so despite the fact delivery address was in an industrial estate and the fact there were several 10-tonne vehicles delivering various good on daily basis. I then said, to cancel my order as they were unable to deliver. They refused to cancel the order without a charge of £50 per pallet return i.e. £100 pounds return for a £ 138-pound product and a delivery failure which was not my fault. They said I should have notified of road closure and it was my responsibility. How can a road closure en route to the delivery address (which I was not aware of) become a customers liability? Public roads and national highway issues including natural events (landslides) are outside customers control and they refused to accept this fact. They refused to cancel my order without charges. I had to take up the matter to Citizens advice, had to log a complaint about a breach of contract and show videos of other vehicles going through the alternative but smaller road. Their customer services manager intervened to resolve it and agreed to refund the money but only after they got the soil back from their own hauliers (Why to wait for a further 4 days?). They promised to refund on Monday but they did not do so until a further chaser email was sent. Their manager made no effort for an apology, neither did she make any efforts taken to put right the poor customer service or did she reassure me that this service will be rectified for the future. Little did Gravel Master know that we are building two allotments and we were about to orders several bulk bags of orders from them, glad we didn't. Shame - they were shortsighted and did not close this off positively. In a nutshell, the following were the issues Poor customer service Unfair cancellation charges request Miscommunidated wrong delivery dates on two occasions Miscommunicated messages to hauliers Misunderstood route access Unduly, made the customer wait for a refund I will not be rushing to order from Gravelmaster anytime soon.

Ordered gravel and they've been delivered to the purchase address not the delivery address. Spoken to people on chat who deferred it to the fulfillment team who said they will ring me back. It has been over a week and no calls. Gravel still at the wrong address. We've rung and rung customer service, and they put the phone down after half hour. Don't buy, if there is an issue you can't get hold of anyone to sort it.
